Every year we sit around, eat amazing amounts of food, and watch football. I often forget about the reason we made the paper hand Turkeys and paper pilgrim hats. Things move faster with each year and it becomes more and more about the result rather than the process so, this year, I'm going to slow it down and I challenge you to do it with me.
I'll cook and eat, spend time with family, watch football and even do a little shopping but this year while I'm in the thick of the jump start to the Holiday Season, I'm going to take a breath and remember to be Thankful for the process.
Lets make this Thanksgiving about more than sitting around the table and everyone saying one thing they're Thankful for. Lets be Thankful daily. Lets remember all we have to be Thankful for rather than just one or two things. While you're making your pie ... be thankful for the hard work of the hands that grew the wheat and then proceeded it into flour. Or while you're watching the parade ... be Thankful for the home you're in. Basically, lets enjoy and be Thankful for the process because the process is what brings us together.
As usual, I want to hear from you ! Comment here or on any of my Social Media sites with how you'll enjoy the process of Thanksgiving this year and be sure to include the Hashtag #ThankfulForTheProcess
