In a Galaxy Far Far Away

As we approach Valentine's Day it got me thinking about the holiday season. There were many highlights but one of the best ... Star Wars. I just love it. When the the music starts I get goosebumps like a crazy fan girl. I can't help it. 


So I won't spoil anything for you if you haven't seen it but here are my highlights ...

• I LOVED the fact that the original cast returned to play their iconic roles (and Hans Solo is still a hottie).
• It has it all... Love, loss, betrayal, heartbreak, romance, passion, war, hope, heroes, villains, and lots of cool characters for us sci-if geeks. 

Fun Facts ...
At our wedding husband my husband and I walked in the reception to the Star Wars theme after being announced husband and wife.

And yes, since it was released around Christmas time I used empty wrapping paper rolls as "light sabers", lol. 

You all know how much I love animals. I'm sure a lot of you have seen this picture but I had to mention it and link you to the article because I think it is so awesome. May have to add a new fur baby to the house !
